Fearless

Like a heavy strong hand,
With thorns on the right one
And shards of glass on the left,
Causeing blood to gush out of the wombs it cause;
It holding me back.

It covers my mouth from speaking the words
That may lead me to salvation
Like its taped my lanynax
With a heavy industrial strength masking tape.
No sound is uttered.

The tar that covers my feet is so thick and heavy
I feel there no way to make a run for for it.
No way to get a break
My feet are so burnt,
They may fall off.

And maybe, just maybe one day,
I'll finally let it go.
I'll find the keys to these million chains.
That have been tearing at my flesh
For as long as I can remember.

When all the walls are gone
And the dust has settled
I can finally see my way
And the fear will be gone.
